Home Grooming Tips

  1. Regular Brushing: Regular brushing helps keep your pet's coat healthy by removing loose fur, dirt, and preventing matting. Use a brush suitable for your pet's coat type and brush at least a few times a week. For long-haired breeds, daily brushing may be necessary.

  2. Nail Trimming: Keeping your pet's nails trimmed prevents overgrowth, which can cause discomfort and health issues. Use a pet-specific nail clipper and trim the nails carefully, avoiding the quick (the sensitive part inside the nail). If you're unsure, ask your vet or a professional groomer for a demonstration.

  3. Bathing and Ear Cleaning: Bathe your pet regularly with a pet-safe shampoo to keep their skin and coat clean. The frequency of baths depends on your pet's breed and lifestyle. Additionally, clean your pet's ears with a vet-recommended ear cleaner to prevent infections. Gently wipe the outer ear with a cotton ball, avoiding deep insertion into the ear canal.

These tips will help maintain your pet's hygiene and overall well-being.

Grooming Frequency

It is recommended to groom your dogs every 4-6 weeks to ensure their coats remain healthy and free from tangles. Our Grooming School emphasises the importance of regular grooming to keep your pets looking and feeling their best.
